For all service, contact your localauthorized Canon Facsimile Dealer.❏ Always follow all warnings and instructions marked on theLASER CLASS 2060P.❏ Use the LASER CLASS 2060P only on a sturdy, stable, level surface. Ifthe unit falls, it could be seriously damaged.❏ Do not use the LASER CLASS 2060P near water. If you spill liquid onor into the unit, unplug it immediately and call your local authorizedCanon Facsimile Dealer.❏ The back of the LASER CLASS 2060P includes slots and openings forventilation. To keep the LASER CLASS 2060P from overheating(which can cause it to operate abnormally and create a fire risk), takecare not to block or cover these openings. Do not operate the unit on abed, sofa, rug, or other similar soft surface, or near a radiator or otherheat source. Do not place the LASER CLASS 2060P in a closet orcabinet or on shelves unless adequate ventilation is available. See“Choosing a Location for Your LASER CLASS 2060P” on page 2-3 forguidelines on how much space the unit needs for ventilation.❏ Operate the LASER CLASS 2060P only from the type of power sourceindicated on the unit’s label.
