Thepower indicator light also flashes.• The indicator is not constant — it varieswith the condition under which batterypack and camcorder are used.How Much Power Is Left?Taking Care of the Battery PackB DAlways attach the terminal cover.• Do not allow any metal objects totouch the terminals, as this cancause a short circuit and damagethe battery pack. Attach theterminal cover whenever thebattery pack is not being used.Keep the terminals clean.• The camcorder, adapter or battery pack will not work properly if theterminals are dirty. Attach the terminal cover whenever the battery pack isnot being used.Storing the battery pack.• Storing a charged battery pack for long periods of time (about 1 year) canshorten its lifecycle or affect performance. We recommend to dischargethe battery pack in the camcorder fully and to store it in a dry place. If youdo not use the battery pack for long periods of time, charge it fully anddischarge it fully in the camcorder at least once a year before returning itto storage.
