If it is still too bright, “OVEREXP”starts flashing. In such case, use the optional FS-30.5U ND filter. If you wish toturn off the ND filter: Open the menu and select [CAMERA SET UP]. Select[ND], set it to [OFF] and close the menu.❍ "OVEREXP" does not appear when you lock the exposure with the EXP button.❍ When the Focus-Priority mode is set to [ON]:If the subject is not suitable for autofocus, the focusing frame turns yellow andlocks the focus. The confirmation sound beeps once. Adjust the focus manuallywith the selector dial.❍ When the Focus-Priority mode is set to [OFF]:No focusing frame appears.In step 2, F turns green, and focus and exposure are locked.Recording Still Images on a Memory Card While RecordingMovies on a TapeYou can record still images on a memory card by pressing the PHOTO button whileyou are recording a movie on the tape.❍ The size of the still image will be 640 × 480.❍ The quality of the still image is slightly lower than a still image recorded inCARD CAMERA mode.❍ Card mix and 16:9 mode cannot be used when [PHOTO REC] is set to [CARD].❍ The still image cannot be recorded on a memory card when a fader, effect orthe multi-image screen is activated.❍ The beep does not sound when you press the PHOTO button while recording amovie on the tape.
