Add the following line to the /etc/hosts file. Example:192.168.1.21 printer_host_name3 Set up the spooling system. Example using Solaris 1.xAdd the following to the /etc/printcap file settings:|:\lp= file>:\:sd=:\:rm=:Input example:print_queue_name|comments:\lp=/var/spool/print_queue_name/.null:\:sd=/var/spool/print_queue_name:\:rm=printer_host_name: Example using Solaris 2.xStart the admintool utility.Select Browse → PrintersSelect Edit → Add, Select Access to Printer...Printer Name, Print Server: enter the desired print queue name and the host name of theprinter from step 2.Click the OK button.NOTE• The admintool utility belongs to the operating system.
