The acces-sory single point boxes contain a set of power taps and pigtailsto complete the wiring between the single point box and theunit’s main control box terminals. Refer to accessory heaterand single point box installation instructions for details on tapconnections.LOW-VOLTAGE CONTROL CONNECTIONSRun the low-voltage control leads from the heater module(s) -VIO and BRN (two of each if two modules are installed; iden-tify for Module #1) - to the 4-pole terminal board TB4 locatedon the heater bulkhead to the left of Heater #1. Connect theVIO leads from Heater #1 and Heater #2 to terminal TB4-1.Connect the BRN leads to terminal TB4-3. The W7220 canbe configured with optional sensors.Fig. 41 — W7220 Economizer ModuleThe W7220 economizer module can be used as a stand-aloneeconomizer module wired directly to a commercial set-backspace thermostat and sensors to provide outside air dry-bulbeconomizer control.The W7220 economizer module can be connected to optionalsensors for single or differential enthalpy control. The W7220economizer module provides power and communications forthe sensors.The W7220 economizer module automatically detects sensorsby polling to determine which sensors are present. If a sensorloses communications after it has been detected, the W7220economizer controller indicates a device fail error on its LCD.SYSTEM COMPONENTSThe EconoMi$er X system includes an economizer module,20k mixed air sensor, damper actuator, and either a 20k out-door air temperature sensor or S-Bus enthalpy sensors.Economizer ModuleThe module is the core of the EconoMi$er X system. Themodule is mounted in the unit’s control box, and includes theuser interface for the system. The W7220 economizer moduleprovides the basic inputs and outputs to provide simpleeconomizer control. When used with the optional sensors, theeconomizer module provides more advanced economizerfunctionality.S-Bus Enthalpy Control SensorsThe sensor is a combination temperature and humidity sensorwhich is powered by and communicates on the S-Bus. Up tothree sensors may be configured with the W7220 economizermodule.CO2 Sensor (optional)The CO2 sensor can be added for Demand Controlled Ventila-tion (DCV).SPECIFICATIONSW7220 Economizer ModuleThe module is designed for use with 2 to 10 vdc or bus com-municating actuator. The module includes terminals for CO2sensor, Mixed Air sensor, and an Outdoor Dry Bulb sensor.
