This indicates that theDigital Piano is ready for use.• After pressing 1P (Power) to turn on power, do notpress any pedal until the Digital Piano is ready to play(the tone name display appears).• Power may not turn on if you press the 1P (Power)button too lightly. This does not indicate malfunction. Ifthis happens, apply more pressure when you press the1P (Power) button.3. Use the 2 volume knob to adjust volume.4. To turn off power, hold down the 1P (Power)button until “Bye” appears on the display.• Pressing the 1P (Power) button to turn off power actuallyputs the Digital Piano into a standby state. Minute amountsof current continue to flow within the Digital Piano in thestandby state. If you do not plan to use the Digital Piano fora long time or if there is a lightning storm in your area, besure to unplug the AC adaptor from the power outlet.• Turning off power normally causes the tone number andother settings to return to their initial defaults. You canenable Auto Resume, which will save most settings whenpower is turned off.• If Auto Resume is disabled, turning off power will initializesettings, except for those below.Tuning, LCD contrast, pairing information (Bluetoothconnection logs), expression/assignable pedal type,expression/assignable pedal calibration, touch buttonsensitivity■ Power On AlertAfter about six minutes of non-operation while the DigitalPiano is being powered by its AC adaptor, the Power On Alertfunction will cause touch button lights to turn on and offsequentially to remind you that power is on.Button lights will return to normal if you touch a button, playsomething on the keyboard, or perform some other operation.To turn off power, hold down the 1P (Power) button until“Bye” appears on the display.• Use FUNCTION parameter 107 (“Power On Alert”) toenable or disable Power On Alert. For more information, see “To return all Digital Pianosettings and data to their initial factory defaults (FactoryReset)” (page EN-60).■ Auto Power OffThis Digital Piano is designed to turn off automatically to avoidwasting power after no operation is performed for a presetamount of time. The Auto Power Off trigger time is about fourhours when power is being supplied by the AC adaptor, or sixminutes under battery power.• You can disable Auto Power Off to ensure that power doesnot turn off automatically during a concert, etc. To disableAuto Power Off, select “Off” for FUNCTION parameter 106(“Auto Power Off”).
