The materials usedthat are suitable for recycling can be sorted into individual types.WARNING!Cooling systems (heat pumps), climate controlsystems and heating devices that are incorrectly dis-mantled can both endanger the life and health ofpeople and exhibit impaired function during start-up.● Work on the DAIKIN EKHHP (such as dismantlingcomponents, temporary or final shutdown ofsystem) is only to be carried out by persons whoare authorised and who have successfullycompleted qualifying technical or vocationaltraining for the specific activity and who havetaken part in advanced training sessions recog-nised by the relevant responsible authorities. These include, in particular, certified heatingengineers, qualified electricians and HVACspecialists, who on account of their professionaltraining and expert knowledge, have experiencein the professional installation and maintenance ofheating, cooling and air conditioning systems andheat pumps.● You must observe the warning and safetyinstructions in the installation manual on workingin the coolant system.CAUTION!Coolant escaping from the system causes long-termdamage to the environment.Mixing different kinds of coolant can result in hazard-ous toxic gases being released. Mixing with oils whencoolant escapes can lead to the soil being contami-nated.● Never allow coolant to be released into the atmos-phere - always suction it off and recycle using asuitable recycling device.● Always recycle coolant, in so doing keeping itseparated from oils and other additives.● Only store different types of coolant separately, insuitable pressure vessels.● Dispose of coolants, oils and additives properlyand in accordance with the applicable nationalregulations of the country it is being used in.DAIKIN has complied with the standards for environ-mentally-friendly disposal as a result of the environ-mentally-friendly design of the DAIKIN EKHHP. Properdisposal in compliance with the respective national reg-ulations of the country of use is the responsibility of theuser/owner.The designation of the product means that electricaland electronic products may not be disposed oftogether with unsorted domestic waste.Proper disposal in compliance with the respectivenational regulations of the country of use is the respon-sibility of the user/owner.– Disassembly of the system, handling of coolant, oil and other parts may only be carried out by aqualified fitter.– Disposal may only be carried out by an organi-zation that specialises in reuse, recycling andrecovery.Further information is available from the installationcompany or the responsible local authorities.
