References296 Gryphon™ I GD4100/GM4100/GBT4100/L GD4300ACK NAK Retry CountThis feature specifies the number of times the reader retries a label transmission due to a retrycondition. The selectable range is from 1 to 254 retries. A selection of 0 disables the count, anda selection of 255 specifies unlimited retries.To set this feature:1. Determine the desired setting.2. Pad the number with leading zeroes to yield three digits. For example: 0 = 000, 5 = 005,20 = 020, etc.3. Go to page 51 and scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to enterProgramming Mode.4. Scan the barcode: SELECT ACK NAK RETRY COUNT SETTING.5. Scan the appropriate three digits from the keypad in Appendix D, Keypad, that representthe number which was determined in the steps above. You will hear a two-beep indicationafter the last character.If you make a mistake before the last character, scan the CANCEL barcode toabort and not save the entry string. You can then start again at the begin-ning.6. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to exit ProgrammingMode.This completes the procedure.
