The selectable range for this feature is from 02 to 25 seconds.Follow these instructions to set this feature:1. Determine the desired setting.2. Pad the number with leading zeroes to yield two digits. For example: 2 = 02, 5 = 05, 25 =25, etc3. Go to page 272 and scanScan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode toenter Programming Mode.4. Scan the barcode: SELECT RADIO PROTOCOL TIMEOUT.5. Scan the appropriate two digits from the keypad in Appendix D, Keypad, that representthe duration which was determined in the steps above. You will hear a two-beep indica-tion after the last character.If you make a mistake before the last character, scan the CANCEL barcode toabort and not save the entry string. You can then start again at the begin-ning.6. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to exit ProgrammingMode.This completes the procedure.
