If so, it is not applicable to your machine (see "Menu overview" onpage 28).To change the menu options:• Press (fax) > (Menu)> Fax Feature on the control panel.Item DescriptionDarknessAdjusts the brightness level to scan an original that iseasier to read, when the original contains faintmarkings and dark images (see "Darkness" on page 56).ContrastAdjusts the contrast level to scan an original that iseasier to read, when the original contains too faint ortoo dark contents.ResolutionThe default document settings procedure good resultswhen using typical text-based originals. However, if yousend originals that are of poor quality, or containphotographs, you can adjust the resolution to producea higher quality fax (see "Resolution" on page 62).Scan Size Sets the image size.Item DescriptionMulti SendSends a fax to multiple destinations (see "Sending a faxto multiple destinations" on page 61).You cannot send a color fax using this feature.Delay SendSets your machine to send a fax at a later time when youwill not be present (see "Delaying a fax transmission" onpage 219).You cannot send a color fax using this feature.Priority SendScans the original into memory and immediatelytransmits it when the current operation is finished.Priority transmission will interrupt a sending to multipledestinations between stations (example, when thetransmission to station A ends, before transmission tostation B begins) or between redial attempts (see"Sending a priority fax" on page 220).ForwardForwards the received or sent fax to other destinationby a fax or PC.
