Forprovisions of any service contract covering your system, refer to your invoiceor the separate service contract that you will receive.If Dell elects to exchange a product or portion of a product, the exchangewill be made in accordance with Dell’s Exchange Policy in effect on the dateof the exchange. In any instance in which Dell issues a Return MaterialAuthorization Number, Dell must receive the product(s) for repair prior tothe expiration of the warranty period in order for the repair(s) to be coveredby the limited warranty.Two-Year Limited Warranty (U.S. Only)Dell Computer Corporation ("Dell") manufactures its hardware productsfrom parts and components that are new or equivalent to new in accordancewith industry-standard practices. Dell warrants that the hardware productsit manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.The limited warranty term is two years beginning on the date of invoice, asfurther described in the following section.Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered under this warranty.Otherwise, this limited warranty does not cover damage due to externalcauses, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power,servicing not authorized by Dell, usage not in accordance with productinstructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, andproblems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Dell.
