You can move the highlighting fromone option to another by pressing the left- or right-arrowkey. As you move from one menu option to another, abrief explanation of the currently highlighted optionappears on the bottom line of the screen.If you want more information about a test group or sub-test, move the highlight to the About option and press. After reading the information, press toreturn to the previous screen.Main Menu OptionsThe Main menu of the diagnostics main screen lists eightoptions: Run, Select, Subtest, Options, Test Limits,About, Key-Help, and Quit.NOTE: Before running any test groups or subtests (byselecting Run and then All), you should consider setting glo-bal parameters within the Options option. They offer yougreater control over how the test groups or subtests are runand how their results are reported.There are two ways to select a menu option:• Type the capitalized letter in the option (for example,type r to select the Run option).• Use the left- or right-arrow key to highlight theoption, and then press .Whenever one of the eight options is selected, additionalchoices become available.The following subsections explain the menu options aslisted from left to right in the Main menu.RunRun displays five options: One, Selected, All, Key-Help,and Quit Menu. If you select One, only the highlightedtest group is run. If you choose Selected, the computerruns the test groups, or the selected subtests within thetest groups that you selected. (Select test groups or sub-tests within test groups with the Select or Subtest options,as described in the following subsections.) If you selectAll, all of the subtests in all of the test groups are run.(The test groups or subtests are run in the order they arelisted.)The Key-Help option displays a list of key controls avail-able for the selected option. You canchoose one or more test groups and run them sequentiallyor individually. When you choose Select, five options aredisplayed: All, One, Clear All, Key-Help, and QuitMenu.To select all the test groups, highlight All in the Selectmenu, and press . To select an individual testgroup, either press the up- or down-arrow key to high-light the test group and then press the , orhighlight One in the Select menu and press .To reverse a test group selection, highlight the test groupand press the .
