Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet andperipherals.2. Lay the system on its side, on a flat and stable surface.3. Open the system.4. Slide the power switch through the slot on the front of the system and secure it to the system.5. Route the power-switch cable through the chassis clip.6. Connect the power-switch cable to the power-switch connector on the system board.7. Install the following components:a) optical driveFor information on installing the optical drive, see Installing The Optical Drive.b) bezel8. Close the system.9. Place the system upright on a flat, stable surface.10. Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.Input/Output PanelRemoving The Input/Output PanelCAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. Open the system.4. Remove the bezel.5. Disconnect the I/O panel, data, and USB data cables from the system board.6. Remove the I/O panel, data, and USB data cables from the chassis clip.7. Remove the screw securing the I/O panel to the system.8. Slide the I/O panel towards the front of the system to release it and pull the I/O panel along with its cable out of thesystem.34
