Free ignitor cable if pinchedby any metal or tubing. Keepignitor cable dry2. Reconnect ignitor cable3. Tighten nut holding piezo ignitorto base panel of log set. Nut islocated behind base panel4. Replace ignitor cable5. Replace ignitor6. Replace piezo ignitor7. Replace ignitor1. Turn on gas supply or openequipment shutoff valve2. Turn control knob to PILOTposition3. Press in control knob while inPILOT position4. Continue holding down controlknob. Repeat igniting operationuntil air is removed5. Clean ODS/pilot (see Cleaningand Maintenance, page 19) orreplace ODS/pilot assembly6. Replace gas regulator1. Press in control knob fully2. After ODS/pilot lights, keep con-trol knob pressed in 30 seconds3. Wait one minute for safety in-terlock system to reset. Repeatignition operation4. Fully open equipment shutoffvalve5. Hand tighten until snug, thentighten 1/4 turn more6. A) Contact local natural gascompanyB) Clean ODS/pilot (see Clean-ing and Maintenance, page 19)or replace ODS/pilot assembly7. Replace thermocouple8. Replace control valve
