For improved energy efficiency, lower wattage PAR Halogen flood bulbs may be used.Compact Fluorescent (CFL) bulbs contain electronics which may interfere with the light-sensing function of your dusk to dawn fixture and are not recommended.IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSWhen using product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:• Heed all warnings, including below warnings AND those included on product.• Save these instructions and warnings.• For outdoor use only.• cULus LISTED for wet location use.• Disassembling your fixture will void the warranty.• Your fixture is prewired and preassembled for easy installation.• Read and follow these instructions.• Risk of fire/electric shock. If not qualified, consult an electrician.• To reduce the risk of a burn during relamping, disconnect power supply to the unitbefore relamping.• The bulb and fixture get extremely hot during use. Allow fixture to cool completelybefore attempting to reposition fixture.• Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.• Disconnect power and allow fixture to cool before changing bulb or handling fixture.CAUTION• Connect fixture to a 120 volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other connection voidsthe warranty.• Fixture should be installed by persons with experience in household wiring or by aqualified electrician. The electrical system, and the method of electrically connectingthe fixture to it, must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and localbuilding codes.• Mount fixture to a grounded junction box marked for use in wet locations.• Suitable for wall mount or eave mount only. NOT suitable for groundmount installation.• Keep away from flammable objects. Do not position fixture withintwo inches of any combustible materials.• Always use or replace bulb with the same wattage or lower wattage than required.Installing a bulb of a higher wattage could create a fire hazard and will voidthe warranty.• MINIMUM 90° C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS.• Fixture heads must be aimed in a downward direction. Aiming the fixture headsupward can result in accumulation of water in the fixture and will void the warranty.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.INSTALLING YOUR FIXTURECAUTION: Always turn off power at fuse box or circuit breaker beforeremoving or installing any light fixture.1. This mounting plate has been designed to work with a variety of different junction boxes.Line up the knockout holes in the mounting plate with the screw locations in your junctionbox. Drill out the matching holes in the mounting plate using an electric drill and a 1/8˝drill bit or knock out the holes with a punch and hammer.2. Take the gasket included with this mounting plate and position it behind the mountingplate. Line up the screws in the mounting plate with the appropriate hole pattern in thegasket and remove gasket material in those holes.3. Connect lampholder wires to supply wires from house (white to white and black toblack) using wire connectors.4. Attach the mounting plate to your junction box using the screws (D), making sure that thegasket is properly aligned and that all screws aretightly secured. To prevent moisture from entering the junction box, apply a bead ofsilicone sealant around the edge of the mounting plate where it attaches to thejunction box.WARNING: Do not touch fixture during use as the fixture housing gets extremely hot. Turn offfixture and allow to cool before replacing bulb.AIMING THE LIGHTLoosen the knob on the side of the light housing. Tilt fixture head up or down to desiredposition then retighten knob.WARNING: Risk of fire/electric shock.
