User Menu OptionsPage 52Add ExceptionUse System Config – Calendar Set – Add Exception to create anexception. During the time specified by the exception, none of the eventsthat have the exception will take place. When you add an exception, thecontrol unit guides you through the following steps:Name Enter up to 12 characters or press  to leave thedefault name. See page 30 for details of how to entertext.Exception Start Time Specify the time you want the exception to start, then to display the next prompt.The time “00:00” is midnight, at the beginning of anew day.Exception Start Date Specify the date you want the exception to start (forexample, 31/12 for 31st December).Exception End Time Specify the time you want the exception to end.Exception End Date Specify the date you want the exception to end.Edit ExceptionUse System Config – Calendar Set – Edit Exception to edit individual partsof an exception.Delete ExceptionUse System Config – Calendar Set – Delete Exception to delete anexception.Deferring calendar settingDuring the calendar set warning time, a user can interrupt the settingprocess. To do this, the user must enter the access code at a keypad thathas a display (or present a prox tag), then do one of the following: Press  or  to see details of which partitions or part of thesystem is about to set. Press  to allow the setting event to proceed. Press  to defer setting for 30 minutes. Note that for a partitionedsystem, the user must belong to the partition that is due to be set. Press the key to gain access to the setting menu to set anotherpartition that is not involved in the current setting event. Note that if
