;n ShelvesThe shelves are designed with stop-locks so whenplaced correctly on the shelf supports, they willstop before coming completely out of the oven andwill not tilt when you are removing food from themor placing food on them. When placing cookware on a shelf, pull the shelf outto the bump on the shelf support. Place the cookwareon the shelf, then slide the shelf back into the oven. This will eliminate reaching into the hot oven.To remove a shelf from the oven, pull it toward you, tilt the front end upward and pull the shelf out.To replace, place the shelf on the shelf support withthe stop-locks (curved extension of shelfi facing upand toward the rear of the oven. Tilt up the front andpush the shelf toward the back of the oven until itgoes past the bump on the shelf support. Then lower ~/the front of the shelf and push it all the way back.Shelf PositionsThe oven has six shelf supports identified in thisillustration as A (bottom), B, C, D, E and F (top).f positions for cooking are suggested in the~d~ing, Roasting and Broiling sections.NOTE: The highest position (above F) is onlya support. It is not intended to be used as a shelfposition in these models that do not have theconvection feature.Automatic Oven Shut OffAs a safety feature, the upper oven will automatically shut itself off if it hasbeen left on for more than 12 hours,Oven VentWhen the oven is on, heated air moves through a ventabove the door or between door and air grille. The vent area could get hot during oven use.The vent is needed for proper air flow in the oven andgood baking results. Do not block this vent.9
