Installation InstructionsREPLACING THE DOORS (Double Door Refrigerator Models only)INSTALL CENTER HINGEInstall the center hinge on each side.REHANG REFRIGERATOR DOORSLower the refrigerator door onto thecenter hinge pin. Ensure that the whitehinge pin thimble is on the center hingepin or inside door hinge pin hole locatedin the bottom of the door.Securely tape the door shut with maskingtape or have a second person supportthe door.Route wires through top hinge pin slot.Insert the top hinge pin into the hinge holeon top of the refrigerator door. Make surethe door is aligned with the cabinet andopposite door. Attach the hinge to the topof the cabinet loosely with the bolts.Reconnect the wire connector andreconnect the ground wire using the screwremoved earlier. Ensure that the wireconnector is fully engaged.IMPORTANT: The ground wire must bereinstalled to ensure a proper ground.ABREHANG REFRIGERATOR DOORS (CONT.)Make sure the gasket on the door isflush against the cabinet and is not folded.Make sure the door is straight and the gapbetween the doors is even across the front.While holding the aligned door in place,tighten the top hinge bolts. If the unit rocks,re-adjust the leveling legs to the extentthat the unit is stable.If the doors remain uneven, use a C spacerto align the doors. While lifting the dooron the hinge side with one hand, insert aC spacer with pliers.
