Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be sure that the ovenlight is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.The low temperature zone of this range (between 150°F and 200°F) is available to keep hot cooked foods warm.Food kept in the oven longer than 2 hours at these low temperatures may spoil.How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cook for aselected length of time. At the end of the cookingtime the oven will turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correcttime of day.Press the BAKE pad.Press the + or – or number pads toset the oven temperature.Press the COOKING TIME pad.Press the + or – or number pads toset the baking time.The oven temperature and the cookingtime that you entered will be displayed.Press the START pad. The displayshows the oven temperature that youset and the cooking time countdown.(The display starts changing oncethe temperature reaches 100°F.)The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shutoff automatically.Press the CLEAR/OFF pad to clear thedisplay if necessary.Remove the food from the oven. Remember, eventhough the oven shuts off automatically, foodscontinue cooking after controls are off.How to Set a Delayed Start and Automatic StopYou can set the oven control to delay-start the oven,cook for a specific length of time and then turn offautomatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct timeof day.Press the BAKE pad.Press the + or – or number pads toset the temperature.Press the COOKING TIME pad.Press the + or – or number pads toset the baking time.Press the DELAY START or START TIMEpad.Press the + or – or number pads to setthe time of day you want the oven toturn on and start cooking.Press the START pad.If you would like to check the times youhave set, press the DELAY START or STARTTIME pad to check the start time you haveset or press the COOKING TIME pad to checkthe length of cooking time you have set.When the oven turns on at the time of dayyou have set, the display will show thechanging temperature (starting at 100°F)and the cooking time countdown.At the end of cooking time the oven willturn off and the end of cycle tone willsound.Press the CLEAR/OFF pad to clear theend of cycle tone if necessary.Remove the food from the oven.
