Installation of the range.Read these instructions completely and carefully.Adjust Broil and Oven Burner Air Adjustment Shutters if NecessaryAir adjustment shutters for the top and bottom burnersregulate the flow of air to the flames.The air adjustment shutter for the top (broil)burner is in the center of the rear wall of the oven.The shutter for the bottom (oven) burner is nearthe back wall behind the storage drawer or thewarming drawer (depending on the model).Remove the drawer. See the Care and cleaningof the range section.To adjust the flow of air to either burner, loosen the Phillipshead screw and rotate the shutter toward open or closedposition as needed.The flames for the top (broil) burner should besteady with approximately 1″ blue cones and shouldnot extend out over the edges of the burner baffle.To determine if the bottom burner flames areburning properly, remove the oven bottom. Flamesshould have approximately 1″ blue cones and, ifrange is supplied with natural gas, should burnwith no yellow tipping. (With most LP gas, smallyellow tips at the end of outer cones are normal.)Flames should not lift off burner ports.
