30Care and CleaningWall OvenOven lights Each oven is equipped with two halogen lightslocated on the back wall of the oven. The lightscome on when the door is opened or when theoven is in a cooking cycle. The oven lights donot come on during self-cleaning.Each light assembly consists of a removable lensframe, a removable lens, a light bulb and a bulbsocket that is fixed in place.CAUTION: Before replacing the bulb,disconnect electrical power to the oven at themain fuse or circuit breaker panel.Be sure to let the light cover and bulb coolcompletely.For your safety, do not touch a hot bulb withbare hands or a damp cloth.To remove:Remove the lens frame by unscrewingthe screw.Remove the lens.Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove the bulbby pulling it straight out.To replace:Use a new 12-volt Halogen bulb, size T3, G4pins, not to exceed 20 watts.NOTE: Higher wattage bulbs will damageyour oven.Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove the bulbfrom its packaging. Do not touch the bulbwith bare fingers.Push the bulb straight into the receptacle allthe way.Replace the lens, making sure that it isfirmly pressed in place.Replace the lens frame and fasten in placewith the screw. The lens and lens frame mustbe in place when using the oven.For improved lighting inside the oven, clean theglass cover frequently using a wet cloth. Thisshould be done when the oven is completely cool.Reconnect electrical power to the oven.Replacement bulbs may be purchasedby calling 800.626.2002.
