Unplug the appliance from themains or switch off the circuit breaker inthe fuse box. Contact the after-salesservice.Causes of damageCaution!– Do not place anything on the cookingcompartment floor. Do not cover it with aluminiumfoil. A build-up of heat could damage theappliance.The cooking compartment floor and theevaporator dish must always be kept clear. Alwaysplace ovenware in a perforated cooking containeror on a wire rack.– Aluminium foil in the cooking compartment mustnot come into contact with the door panel. Thiscould cause permanent discolouration of the doorpanel.– We recommend you use a mineral water low inchloride and without added carbonic acid if yourtap water contains large amounts of chloride(>40 mg/l). You can inquire with your local watersupply company to obtain information about yourtap water.– Ovenware must be heat and steam resistant.Silicone baking tins are not suitable for combinedoperation with steam.– Use only original accessories in the cookingcompartment. Rusting material (such as servingplatters or knives and forks) can cause corrosionin the oven interior.– Use original small parts (e.g. knurled nuts) only.Order small parts from our after-sales service ifthese should be lost.– When steaming with a perforated cookingcontainer, always insert the baking tray or thesolid cooking container underneath. Drippingliquid is caught.– Do not store moist food in the closed cookingcompartment for long periods. It can lead tocorrosion in the cooking compartment.– Salt, spicy sauces (e.g. ketchup or mustard) orsalted dishes (e.g. cured roast) contain chlorideand acids. These corrode the surfaces ofstainless steel. Always remove residuesimmediately.– Fruit juice may leave stains in the cookingcompartment. Always remove fruit juiceimmediately and wipe the cooking compartmentwith a moist and dry cloth.– The cooking compartment in your appliance ismade of high grade stainless steel. Improper carecan lead to corrosion in the cookingcompartment. Refer to the care and cleaninginstructions in the instruction manual. After everyuse, clean the cooking compartment after theappliance has cooled down. After cleaning, drythe cooking compartment with the dryingprogram.
