The NavigationMap can be oriented three different ways: North Up (NORTH UP), Track Up (TRK UP) orDesired Track Up (DTK UP).An aircraft icon is placed on the Navigation Map at the location correspondingto the calculated present position. The aircraft position and the flight plan legs areaccurately based on GPS calculations. The basemap upon which these are placed arefrom a source with less resolution, therefore the relative position of the aircraft to mapfeatures is not exact. The leg of the active flight plan currently being flown is shown asa magenta line on the navigation map. The other legs are shown in white. The Direct-to Window, the Flight Plan Pages, and the Nearest Airports Pages can bedisplayed by pressing the corresponding hardkeys.COMPASS ARCNOTE:The compass arc is not available in ‘North Up’ map orientation.A compass arc representing the aircraft’s ground track, appears by default on theMap Page. The route line represents the course.Compass Arc (Map Page)Route LineCompass Arc
