General Information1-20 560-0982-01 Rev L GNS 480 (CNX80) Installation Manual1.8.1.3 GA 37 Antenna:GA 37 Antenna Garmin P/N 013-00245-00 contains the following items:Item Part Number Qty013-00245-00 (Garmin)GA 37 GPS/WAAS + XM Antenna [1] AT2300-126GW-TNCF-000-RG-27-NM (Aero Antenna) 1[1] Antenna includes 10-32 UNC-2A x 1.00” SST mounting screws (qty 4) and O-ring (qty 1).An antenna doubler may also be required. Refer to Section 1.8.2 below for additional information. Noadditional hardware is required to secure the antenna if doubler P/N 115-00846-00 is used. If thisdoubler is not used, #10 washers (qty 4) and #10 (qty 4) self-locking nuts are required in addition tothe antenna, or suitable nutplates may be installed on the doubler that is used.To connect the GPS antenna coaxial cable to the antenna a TNC plug is required.1.8.1.4 A33W Antenna:Item Part Number QTYA33W, WAAS [1] [2] 013-00261-00 (Garmin) 1[1] Antenna includes 6-32 UNC-2A x 1.00” SS 303 mounting screws (qty 4) and o-ring (qty 1).[2] Installation of this antenna is not covered by the Garmin GA Antenna AML STC SA01695SE.An antenna doubler may also be required. Refer to Section 1.8.2 below for additional information.To secure the antenna, #6 washers (qty 4) and #6 (qty 4) self-locking nuts are required in addition tothe antenna, or suitable nutplates may be installed on the doubler that is used.To connect the GPS antenna coaxial cable to the antenna a TNC plug is required.1.8.1.5 Other Antennas:See the manufacturer’s installation instructions listed in Section 1.9.An antenna doubler may also be also required. Refer to Section 1.8.2 below for additionalinformation.1.8.2 GPS Antenna DoublerIf installing the GPS antenna onto existing provisions a doubler may not be required. If installing theGPS antenna using AML STC SA01695SE as the basis for approval, one of the following antennadoublers is required:• Antenna doubler P/N 115-00846-00, for the GA 36, GA 37, GA 56A, and GA 57 antennas.This doubler contains nutplates (qty 4) for the antenna mounting screws.• Antenna doubler P/N 115-00846-10, for the GA 35, GA 56W and A-34 antennas.This doubler does not contain nutplates.The above doublers may be purchased from Garmin or fabricated in accordance with the AntennaSTC Installation Manual 190-00569-00.
