EAPPENDIX ADATA CARD USEA-1APPENDIX A: DATA CARD USEThe Jeppesen NavData Card, and the Terrain DataCard (if applicable) supplied with the GPS 400 can beinstalled or removed when the GPS 400 is on or off. If theNavData Card is not present when the unit is turned on, a‘No Jeppesen Aviation Database - Limited to user definedwaypoints’ message appears on the Database ConfirmationPage. If the NavData Card is removed during operation,a ‘Data card removed - Unit will restart in 30 seconds’warning is displayed. A counter begins to count downand, if the card is not replaced within 30 seconds, theGPS 400 automatically re-initializes.
