35Basic OperationPoints TabThe Points Tab of the Main Menu features two tabs, ‘User’ and ‘Proximity’, that let you manage a largenumber of waypoints quickly and efficiently. The tabs also provide a continuously updated proximitywaypoint alarm function that can be used to define an alarm circle around things like submerged hazardsor shallow waters.To access the Points Tab of the Main Menu:1. Press MENU twice to open the Main Menu.2. Highlight ‘Points’ from the vertical list of tabs using the ARROW KEYPAD.‘User’ tabThe ‘User’ tab displays a master list of all waypoints currently stored in memory. From the ‘User’list, you may review, edit, rename, or delete individual waypoints or delete all user waypoints. The totalnumber of stored and available waypoints is displayed at the bottom of the ‘User’ tab, with the storedwaypoints arranged in numerical/alphabetical order.To scroll through and review the waypoint list:1. With the ARROW KEYPAD, highlight ‘Points’ on the Main Menu, then highlight the ‘User’ tab.2. Use the ARROW KEYPAD to scroll through the list in the desired direction.3. Press ENTER/MARK to review the highlighted waypoint on the ‘Waypoint Edit’ page. See theprevious pages for detailed information on reviewing and editing waypoints.To activate a ‘Go To’ from the ‘User’ tab:1. Access the ‘User’ tab of the Points Tab.2.
