It also allows you to usea track for TracBack or display it on a map. You can save up to 15 track logs inmemory with up to 700 track log points in each saved log.On the Saved sub tab, the following soft keys are available:• Review Map—opens the Saved Track window so you can review theselected track.• Delete—deletes the highlighted saved track log from memory.• Delete All—deletes all saved track logs from memory.DSC (Digital Selective Calling) TabUse the DSC tab to control and set up DSC features on theGPSMAP 3006C/3010C. DSC uses marine VHF radio and GPS technologies totransmit and receive location information. DSC is used by mariners for two majoroperations—distress calls and position reporting.For more information about DSC and Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI)numbers, see page 105 in the “Appendix.”When the GPSMAP 3006C/3010C is connected to a VHF radio with DSCsupport, the GPS unit displays a call list, log, and a directory that stores incominginformation received from another user’s DSC-capable VHF/GPS combination.Basic wiring is required for the Garmin unit and VHF radio to send and receiveNMEA data from each other.
