102 GPSMAP 392/398/492/498 Owner’s ManualAPPENDIX > M ESSAGESSonar Service Incompatible—(only applied to the GPSMAP392/492) the external sonar device you are connected to needs asoftware update.Sonar Service Lost—(only applied to the GPSMAP 392/492)the external sonar device you were connected to has either beendisconnected or the GPSMAP 392/492 has lost communicationwith the sonar device for some other reason.Track Already Exists [Track Name]—you entered a saved trackname that already exists in memory. Modify the track name ordelete the existing track.Track Memory Full—no more track data can be stored withoutdeleting old data.Track Log Full—the track log is full and track recording has beenturned off. To record more track points, you need to clear the tracklog and turn track recording on. This only appears when the trackrecording setting is set to “Stop When Full.”Track Memory is Full, Can’t Create Track—the track logmemory is full. No additional track log data can be stored withoutdeleting old data to create memory space.Track Truncated—a complete uploaded track does not fit intomemory. The oldest track log points were deleted to make space forthe most recent data.Transducer Disconnected, Sonar Turned Off—there is not atransducer attached, bad cable/transducer, or the transducer cablewas disconnected. If the transducer cable is removed while the unitis on, reconnect and cycle power.Transfer Complete—the unit has finished uploading ordownloading information to the connected device.User Card Not Found, Please Insert Card—attempted to transferuser data without a data card containing user data being present inthe Data Card slot.Water Temperature Alarm—sonar has reported a temperatureabove, below, inside, or outside the specified value(s).Waypoint Already Exists—you entered a waypoint name thatalready exists in memory. Modify the waypoint name or delete theexisting waypoint.Waypoint Memory Full—you have used all 4,000 waypointsavailable. Delete unwanted waypoints to make space for newentries.
