For moreinformation about the stereo connections, see the RV-BBT600Series Installation Instructions.The stereo shows only one camera at a time and cannot switchbetween cameras. Connecting multiple cameras requires anexternal switching mechanism. This is typically available only forprofessional or manufacturer installations.Viewing a Vehicle CameraBefore you can view a vehicle camera, a compatible cameramust be connected to the stereo, and the remote must bedocked.1 Select an option to view a vehicle camera:• To automatically show the backup camera, place thevehicle into reverse.• To automatically show a side-mirror camera, activate thevehicle turn signal.NOTE: This option is typically available only as amanufacturer option on select vehicles, and may not beavailable on your vehicle.• To manually show the backup camera, select Camera.The vehicle camera view appears on the screen.2 If available, select to mute or unmute audio from thecamera microphone.TIP: If the vehicle camera microphone is connected and thisoption is not available, verify the microphone is enabled(Enabling the Vehicle Camera Microphone, page 13).3 Select an option to resume normal operation:• Take the vehicle out of reverse.• Deactivate the vehicle turn signal.• Select .Enabling the Vehicle Camera MicrophoneBefore you can enable the vehicle camera microphone, it mustbe connected to the Aux 2 input on the stereo.If the connected vehicle camera includes a microphone, you canenable or disable the microphone in the camera viewer.Select Camera > > Mic Installed.When the microphone is enabled, appears on the camerascreen.Hands-Free CallingNOTE: While most phones are supported and can be used, itcannot be guaranteed that a particular phone can be used. Allfeatures may not be available for your phone.Using Bluetooth wireless technology, your device can connect toyour mobile phone to become a hands-free device (Pairing YourPhone or Media Player, page 2). While connected, you canplace or receive calls using your device.Downloading Contacts and Call LogsYou must download the call logs and contacts from yourconnected smartphone before you can access them in thePhone app on the stereo. To prevent interruption to musicstreaming, the device does not download these itemsautomatically when you pair or connect your smartphone.1 From the Phone app, select Call Logs or Contacts.2 Select > Download.The stereo downloads the contacts and call logs from yoursmartphone. If you are playing music over the Bluetoothconnection, the music playback pauses until the download iscomplete.TIP: If the stereo cannot download contacts and call logs, youshould go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone andverify the RV-BBT60X device has permission to accesscontacts, call logs, or the phone book. For more informationabout setting permissions for Bluetooth devices, see the owner'smanual for your smartphone.Placing a Call1 Select Phone.2 Select an option:• To dial a number, select Dialpad, enter the phonenumber, and select .• To call a recently dialed or received phone number, selectCall Logs, and select a number.• To call a contact from your phone book, select Contacts,and select a contact.Receiving a CallWhen you receive a call, select Answer or Decline.Saving a Phone Number as a PresetYou can save up to three contacts as presets on the dial pad.This allows you to quickly call your home phone number, familymembers, or frequently called contacts.1 Select Phone > Dialpad.2 Hold a preset number, such as Preset 1.3 Select a contact.Voice CommandNOTE: Voice command is not available for all languages andregions, and may not be available on all models.NOTE: Voice Activated Navigation may not achieve desiredperformance when in a noisy environment.Voice command allows you to use your device by saying wordsand commands. The voice command menu provides voiceprompts and a list of available commands.Activating Voice Command1 Say Voice Command.The voice command menu appears.2 Say a command from the menu.3 Respond to the voice prompts to complete the search oraction.Voice Command Tips• Speak in a normal voice directed at the device.• Reduce background noise, such as voices, or the radio, toincrease the accuracy of the voice recognition.• Speak commands as they appear on the screen.• Respond to voice prompts from the device as needed.• Increase the length of your wakeup phrase to reduce thechance of accidental voice command activation.• Listen for two tones to confirm when the device enters andexits voice command.Starting a Route Using Voice CommandYou can say the names of popular, well-known locations.1 Say Voice Command.2 Say Find Place.Hands-Free Calling 13 |
