5 From the list of nearby devices, select the RV-BBT600device.6 Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairingprocess.7 If your phone or media player does not immediately connectto the stereo, repeat steps 3 through 6.To prevent interruption to audio streaming over Bluetoothwireless, you should turn off the Discoverable setting afterpairing a Bluetooth device to the stereo.Bluetooth Source SettingsWith the BT source selected, select .Discoverable: Allows the stereo to be visible to Bluetoothdevices. You can turn off this setting to prevent possibleinterruption to audio after pairing a Bluetooth device to thestereo.Remove Device: Removes the Bluetooth device from thestereo. To listen to audio from this Bluetooth device again,you must pair the device again.Playing Bluetooth Audio1 Pair your phone or media player (Pairing Your Phone orMedia Player, page 2).2 Select Music > BT.3 If music does not start playing automatically, start playingmusic using your phone or media player.The audio plays through the stereo, and media informationappears on the stereo screen.For compatible phones and media players, you can control basicplayback functions using the stereo's on-screen controls.Selecting a Different Bluetooth SourceWhen you have more than one Bluetooth device paired to thestereo, you can select a different source when needed. You canconnect the stereo to up to eight Bluetooth devices.1 With the BT source selected, select .2 Select a Bluetooth device.USB, MTP, and Apple®Device PlaybackYou can connect various USB media players and smartphonesto the stereo. For example, you can connect an Android™smartphone, a USB flash drive, or a compatible Apple device.How you access the USB source depends on which type ofmedia player is connected. The stereo is designed to be usedwith one USB connection at a time. You must disconnect oneUSB device before connecting another.NOTE: If you connect an Apple media player to the USB port onthe stereo, you must either disable Bluetooth on the mediaplayer, or unpair the Bluetooth connection from the stereo toavoid possible media-playback issues.Media Player Source SelectionsAndroid device MTPApple device iPodUSB flash drive USBMP3 media player (as a mass-storage device)USBNOTE: If your MP3 media playerdoes not support mass-storagewhen connected using USB, youmust connect it to the stereo as anauxiliary device (Connecting andListening to an Auxiliary AudioSource, page 6).You can browse the music collection on the USB source usingthe categories the device supports, such as songs, albums, andartists on MTP and Apple devices.NOTE: The USB source does not support library browsing. Youcan browse the folder structure.You can also browse the files according to the folder structureon your media player. For example, from the iPod source, youcan select > Albums.The availability of song information such as song title, artistname, track duration, and album cover artwork depends on thecapability of the media player and music application.NOTE: Different operating systems and media players providedifferent levels of support for MTP. Go towww.fusionentertainment.com for device compatibilityinformation.Playing Media from a USB DeviceYou can play media from a connected USB flash drive,smartphone, or compatible portable media device.1 Select an option:• Locate the media USB port in your vehicle.For more information, see your vehicle owner's manual.• Locate the 2.1 A USB port on the back of the RV HUBdock.For more information, see the RV-BBT600 SeriesInstallation Instructions.2 Connect the USB device to the USB port.3 Select an option:• To play media from an Apple device, select Music > iPod.• To play media from a smartphone or device with Android,select Music > MTP.• To play media from another portable media player or USBflash drive, select Music > USB.Browsing Media FilesWhen you are using a device connected to the USB port, youcan browse the media files on your device.The availability of song information, such as song title, artistname, track duration, and album cover artwork, depends on theinformation in the music files.1 With the USB, iPod, or MTPsource selected, select .2 Select an option:• If you are using the iPod or MTP source, select acategory, such as Genres, Artists, or Albums.• If you are using the USB source, select the device name,and select a folder.A list of media files in the selected category or folderappears.3 Select a media file.The stereo plays the selected file and adds the remainingfiles in the list to the play queue.MTP File InformationAfter you connect the MTP device, the stereo downloads the fulllist of song names from the device and creates a song titleindex. This process must be completed before music playbackcan begin. For devices with large music collections, this maytake several minutes. The song count appears during thisprocess. You can use other sources while this process isunderway.For best results, the music folders on an MTP device should notcontain more than 300 files each. Exceeding 300 files per foldercan cause the MTP device to become unresponsive and resetthe connection to the device.Music files must be located in a folder using one of thesenames.
