ENGLISH Use e Maintenance3.3 HANDLINGATTENTION!The Customer must apply the rules envisaged in theEuropean Directives EEC 391/89 and 269/90 and sub-sequent modifications on the possible risks for load-ing and unloading operators caused by manual han-dling of loads.During handling operations wear suitable personalprotection equipment:Overalls Gloves Shoes HardhatIf the machine has to be handled, it should be liftedby hooking cloth ropes to the attachment points providedand using a suitable hoist or crane with sufficient capacity(Fig. 3.4). Because of the danger involved, this operationshould be carried out by trained and responsible person-nel. The mass of the machine is on the identification Plate(Fig.1.2). Stretch the rope to keep the machine level. Thehook points can be detected by finding the “hook” symbol.Hook up at point: A.ATTENTION!• Packaging materials (pallets, cartons, etc.) mustbe disposed of as prescribed by the existing reg-ulations through authorised disposal companies.• Parts making up the machine must not be lifted byhooking them up from moving or weak parts suchas guards, electrical runways, pneumatic parts,etc.• Standing under suspended loads is not allowed;unauthorised personnel are not allowed accessto the work sites; it is mandatory to wear overalls,safety footwear, gloves and a hardhat.Figure 3.4: Lifting couplings20- EN Cod.
