Proceed asfollows (see Fig. 4.21).1. Loosen the two screws on the grid side of the lock.2. Open the lock to allow lifting of the grid.3. Lift the grid.To close the grid:1. Lower the grid.2. Close the lock.3. Tighten the two screws on the grid side of the lock.4.7.5 Loading the hopperDANGER!All operations must be done with the tractor off,P.T.O. disengaged and the tractor parked with theparking brake. Respect the machine and tractormaximum load.To load the hopper, proceed as follows.1. Open the hopper-covering tarp (optional). See §4.7.6.2. Remove any foreign objects in the hopper or on theprotection grid.3. Make sure the outlet shutters are closed.4. Read the instructions and safety indications providedby the fertiliser manufacturer and use appropriatePPE.5. Fill the hopper with the protection grid closed.6. Fill the fertiliser spreader to the maximum, up to theedge.7. Close the hopper-covering tarp.CAUTION!To lift the bags of fertiliser, use appropriate liftingmeans with a sufficient lifting capacity for theload.CAUTION!Fill the fertiliser spreader only when it is hitchedto the tractor. NEVER park or move the fertiliserspreader when it is full.
