Move the strap off to the side.4 Remove the tank from the machine.5 Tag and remove the fuel fittings from the fueltank.Note: Note the orientation of the fuel fittings beforeremoving so when the fittings are installed they willbe in the correct position.6 Rinse out the inside of the tank using a mildsolvent.7 Install the fittings (removed in step 5) into theside of the tank.8 Install the tank onto the machine.9 Attach the fuel lines to the tank. Tighten theclamps.10 Secure the tank with the tank strap. Tighten theretaining fastener. Do not over tighten.C-4Replace the Hydraulic TankBreather Cap - Models withOptional Hydraulic OilGenie requires that this procedure be performedevery 500 hours or six months, whichever comesfirst.The hydraulic tank is a vented-type tank. Thebreather cap has an internal air filter that canbecome clogged or deteriorate. If the breather capis faulty or improperly installed, impurities can enterthe hydraulic system which may cause componentdamage. Extremely dirty conditions may requirethat the cap be inspected more often.1 Remove and discard the hydraulic tank breathercap.2 Install and new cap onto the tank.
