4 The pellet stove may not be installed in the openair! Attention! The mains cable plug must remain freelyaccessible after installation. The pellet stove may only be operated with standardwood pellets (6 mm diameter). (See Section 7.1“Fuel”). The protective grille located in the pellet containermust not be removed. Attention! The Pelletto stove may only beoperated with the tank cover closed. Placing non-heat-resistant materials or objects onthe stove or within the specified minimum distancesis forbidden. Here please note in particular thatduring “Standby” operating status, the stove mayunexpectedly and unintentionally start heating whenthe room temperature falls below the desiredtemperature. Never use liquid fuels to ignite the pellet stove or torevive existing embers. With the burning up of fuels, heat energy isreleased, leading to strong heating of the heatingdevice’s surfaces (e.g. doors, door and controlhandles, viewing window panels, side walls, frontwall, flue tubes). Touching these parts withoutsuitable heat protection gloves or a tool is to beavoided! The device ignites by itself in “Standby” mode.Because of the heat generated on the panel, makesure that no-one who is unfamiliar with the operationof the pellet stove is unsupervised in the room whereit is installed. Bring these risks to your children’s and guestsattention! In particular, any cleaning staff should be informedand instructed regarding the possible unexpectedheating up of the stove. Placing non-heat-resistant objects on or near theheating device (even when it is cold, since it canignite again by itself) is forbidden! Do not lay any laundry on the stove to dry! Clotheshorses for drying clothes and the like mustbe positioned at sufficient distance from the heatingdevice – fire risk! When operating your heating device, it is forbiddento work with highly flammable or explosivesubstances in the same room or an adjacent one!3. Installation of the pellet stove and connection tothe chimneyThe packaging on your new pellet stove gives it optimumprotection against damage. Nevertheless, damage mayhave occurred to the stove or to accessories in transit.Please therefore check your stove after unpacking fordamage and completeness! Report any defects oranything missing to your specialist stove dealer withoutdelay!The packaging on your stove is by and largeenvironmentally neutral. The timber packaging is notuntreated.
