TheMediaCenter 2200B provides one SAS connector. The MediaCenter 2200B-DS provides two SASconnectors for redundancy.The Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is a standard implementation of high speed Ethernet for non-real timeasynchronous file transfer and support of FTP, Samba, and AFP (Apple® Filing Protocol) protocols.CAUTION: MediaCenter run on a non-standard Linux operating system. Do not editfiles manually, or run Linux-type commands via the shell unless instructed to do so byTechnical Support, or the product documentation.
