You can use this to restrict accessto components inside the computer.Locking the keyboardYou can set a power-on password through the Configuration/Setup Utilityprogram and use the security features built into the Windows operatingsystem. If you decide to use passwords, do not forget them.If you set a power-on password, the keyboard is locked when you turn on thecomputer. You must type the correct password before the keyboard willunlock. Use the Configuration/Setup Utility program to set a power-onpassword. For more information, see “Using passwords” on page 35.You can also use the password and screen-saver features built into theWindows operating system to assign a password that locks the keyboard andmouse after a predefined period of inactivity.
