Read the safety information that begins on page v and “Installation guidelines”on page 21.2. Turn off the server and all attached devices.3. Disconnect all external cables and power cords.4. Using the supplied key, unlock the left-side cover.5. Pull the cover-release latch down and rotate the top edge of the cover awayfrom the server.Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, replace the cover before you turnon the server. Operating the server for extended periods of time (more than 30minutes) with the cover removed might damage server components.6.
