Configuring the serverThe following configuration programs are provided with theserver:v Configuration/Setup UtilityThe Configuration/Setup Utility program is part of theBIOS code that comes with the server. You can use thisprogram to configure serial- and parallel-connectorassignments, change the drive startup sequence, set thedate and time, and set passwords. See “Using theConfiguration/Setup Utility program” for moreinformation.v SCSISelect UtilityWith the SCSISelect Utility program, you can configurethe devices that are attached to the optional SCSIadapter. Use this program to change default values,resolve configuration conflicts, and perform a low-levelformat on a SCSI hard disk drive. See “Using theSCSISelect utility program (some models)” on page 37for more information.v ServeRAID programsThe ServeRAID programs come with the optionalServeRAID adapters and with server models that have aServeRAID adapter preinstalled. If a ServeRAID adapterhas been installed in the server, you must use theServeRAID configuration program to define andconfigure the disk-array subsystem before you install theoperating system.v ServerGuide CDsThe ServerGuide CDs include software setup andinstallation tools specifically designed for IBM 200servers. You can use these CDs during the initialinstallation of the server to configure the serverhardware and simplify the NOS installation.
