Part 2 - Configuration29MouseUsing a mouse makes it easier to configure the settings.A mouse lets you make selections faster and use itswheel to scroll through long menus. You can also usethe mouse wheel to increase/decrease numerical values.System SetupRefer to the Menu Use on page 28 for basicinformation on using the Setup menus.GeneralThis Setup menu contains general system options.● Site: Used to enter a description about the system’sinstallation site (no description by default). You canedit the information using the virtual keyboard.● System ID: Used to identify the NVR apart from otherNVRs. System ID is also used to control the NVR withthe remote control.The default System ID is 0 and can be changed to avalue between 0 and 99. The System ID can also beentered using the virtual keyboard.● Language: Choose a language.● Version: Indicates the software version.● Upgrade: Upgrade the system. If NetFS feature is inuse, click Upgrade. You can select the USB Port orNetFS. If the NetFS feature is not in use, you can onlyselect the USB port. Selecting the USB port displaysthe USB search window. You will then be able toselect an upgrade package and upgrade the system.Selecting NetFS displays the list of registered FTPsites. Once the upgrade is completed, the NVR willreboot automatically.If an upgrade attempt fails, an upgrade failuremessage will be displayed. Refer to Error CodeTypes in the installation manual for more details.● Setup: Exports current NVR settings or importsexisting settings. If the NetFS feature is in use, you canexport or import NVR settings in the registered FTPsite.● Import: Decide whether to import network settingsas well. If you do not wish to change the currentnetwork settings, do not select Include NetworkSetup.Selecting Setup Import does not change the settingsbelow.• Time-related settings (Date/Time, Time Zone, andUse Daylight Saving Time)• Camera-related Advanced Settings settings• Camera-related Stream settings (Only if theresolution is different from the camera in exporting)● Export: Exports the current system settings to astorage device connected to the system’s USB port orthe registered FTP site in NetFS. You can designate aFile Name for the export file.For USB flash memory devices, the NVR supports theFAT32 file format only.● Show System Log: Displays a searchable list of 5,000most recent system log entries. For more informationon types of system log entries, refer to the SystemLog Types in the installation manual. The iconappears next to log entries originating from a remotesource. To export the system log, select the Exportat the bottom of the screen and then designate a filename.
