Part 2 - Configuration61Device SetupRefer to the Menu Use on page 28 for basicinformation on using the Setup menus.Alarm-OutClick the + icon at the bottom left corner of the screento add a schedule.You can apply different schedules for different Days ofthe week.Select icon to delete the schedule.● Dwell Time: Select a value between 5 secs and 15mins as the alarm-out duration.● Title: Designate a name for the alarm-out.● Range: Change the schedule time frame.● Mode: Select Event, On, or Off.Event Generates an alarm-out when an eventoccurs.On Alarm-out is always on.Off Alarm-out is always off.● Channels: Configure alarm-out port and beepsettings.Remote Control● Port: Select None, RS232 or RS485. Click the Setupbutton and then select the correct Baud Rate,Parity, Data Bits and Stop Bits for the device you areconnecting to the NVR. You can select the device fromthe Remote Control Product list. If the RS232 portand RS485 port are in use for PTZ control, networkingor text input, the remote keyboard cannot beconfigured. A warning message window will appearwhen other devices are using the same port, such asPTZ control, networking or text input. The messagewarns that you cannot use another device becausethe ports overlap.
