Selecting Camera.Select USB port to display USB search window and thenselect the corresponding upgrade package from thestorage device connected to the NVR’s USB port. Afterselecting an upgrade package, select Apply to upgradethe camera.• If an upgrade attempt fails, an upgrade failuremessage will be displayed. Refer to Error CodeTypes in the installation manual for more details.• The camera will reboot after the upgrade and thenreconnect automatically.• Current software version is not checked whenupgrading a network camera.Record SetupRefer to the Menu Use on page 28 for basicinformation on using the Setup menus.GeneralConfigure general recording settings.● Recycle: When the recording disks become full,the system overwrites existing data with new data,starting with the oldest first. If Recycle is disabled,recording will simply stop when the recording disksreach their maximum capacity.● Record Audio: The camera will record audio alongwith video.● Event Record Dwell: If linked recording is designatedas an event-triggered action, recording takes place forthe duration specified under this setting.● Auto Deletion: Configure this option to deleterecording data automatically after the specifiednumber of days has elapsed. Select between 1 dayand 999 days.To disable Auto Deletion, select Never. If enabled,recording data will be stored on the NVR forthe specified number of days and then deletedautomatically. Expired recording data are deletedautomatically at midnight and will be deleted even ifthe system reboots or the Auto Deletion setting hasbeen changed.● Limit Time-Lapse Recording: You can store eventrecording data for longer. If you do not wish to useLimit Time-Lapse Recording, select Never. Thisfunction is activated when data has been stored forlonger than as configured because the recordingdisk has sufficient capacity and saves new data byoverwriting Time Lapse Recording data that areolder than as specified under Recycle mode.
