If exten-sion wires are needed betweenthe head unit output and theamplifier unit, use conventionalspeaker wire. Keep the wiringinside the passenger and trunkcompartments and make thewires as short as possible. Allconnections should be securelycrimped or soldered and insu-lated with heatshrink tubing.Use the color code of the inputharness wires and the identifica-tion on the radio/tape deck outputwires to be sure that left andright channels are correctly con-nected and the positive/negativepolarity of each channel is con-nected correctly. For example,the left positive output of thehead unit must be connected tothe left positive input of theGTS100x.
