This circuitry will turn theamplifier off in the event of over-heating, a short circuit on thespeaker output wiring, or im-proper power supply connections.If the amplifier cycles on and off,or does not work at all, a problemin installation or an abnormalelectrical condition is indicated.Check speaker wiring for shortcircuits or impedance loads sig-nificantly below 2 ohms (4 ohmsin bridged mode). Check thepower supply voltage at the inputof the amplifier to be sure that itis normal, between 11 and 16volts. Check that the power wiresare not reversed.If the GTS100x is operated atvery high power levels in a highambient temperature situation,the unit may not be able to radi-ate all the heat generated bysuch operation. If the tempera-ture of the amplifier reaches alevel that could cause damage,the thermal overload protectioncircuit will turn the amplifier off.It will turn the amp back on
