ENGLISH-14-If there is no sound from anyof the speakers:• Make sure the subwoofer isplugged into an active AC walloutlet.• Make sure the Master PowerSwitch, located on the rear ofthe subwoofer, is in theOn/Standby position.• Make sure there is a source –for example, a DVD Player, CDPlayer, VCR or television –hooked up to one of the fourinput jacks.• Make sure that the programmaterial is playing.• Recheck the hookupconnections, referring to theSpeaker Connections section.If there is no sound from thesurround speakers orsound is very low:• Check all connectionsbetween processor/amplifierand each of the speakers.• Raise the surround volumefrom the remote control (seeOperation section).• Make sure the TV show ormovie you are watching isrecorded in surround, try thePhantom or Simulated Sur-round mode.• Increase the surround- speak-ers’ level, using the level-adjustment instructions foundearlier in this manual.If there is no sound from thecenter speaker:• Make sure that the processoris in the Surround or3-Stereo mode. If it is inPhantom or Stereo mode, thecenter speaker will not play.• Increase the level of the cen-ter channel, using the level-adjustment instructions earli-er in this manual.• Check the connectionsbetween the subwoofer andthe center speaker.If you have low bass output:• Experiment with placement ofthe subwoofer.
