From the Temperature screen, use the number keypad toenter a desired cooking temperature. The temperature mustbe between 170ºF (77ºC) and 550ºF (288ºC) or an invalid keyalert occurs and the default temperature appears on thescreen.3. Press START to begin preheating oven or select Set CookTimer to set cook time and access Keep Warm (when usedwith the Cook Timer) and Delay Start.4. For cook timer, enter a cooking length using the numberkeypad to set a timer to alert you when cooking ends. Thetime length cannot exceed 12 hours. See “Cook Timer”section for additional information. The oven will turn off whenthe cook time expires.5. (Optional) To keep food warm after a programmed cookingcycle ends, select ON for Keep Warm when done. See the“Keep Warm™ Option” section for additional information.6. (Optional) To set a delayed start, press the quickset pad nextto Delay Start and set the desired time. See the “Delay Start”section for additional information.7. Press START to begin preheating the oven or to start thecountdown for Delay Start.8. Place food in oven when preheat signal sounds. The screenwill also prompt you when to insert food. If a Delay Start isprogrammed, place food in oven when setting the mode.NOTE: Do not use Delay Start for items that require apreheated oven, such as cakes, cookies and breads.9. Press CANCEL OVEN (CANCEL UPPER or CANCEL LOWER,on double models) to turn off the oven.BroilBroiling uses direct radiant heat to cook food.The element cycles on and off in intervals to maintain the oventemperature. The oven door must be closed for the broil elementto operate.If the oven door is opened during broiling, the broil elementwill turn off in approximately 30 seconds. When the oven dooris closed, the elements will come back on approximately30 seconds after the door is closed.A.
