Using the handwheel (18, Fig. C), adjust the squeegeeso that its rear blade (20) - in all its length - touches thefloor and that the front blade (19) is slightly detachedfrom the floor.Solution tank filling17. Open the tank cover (1, Fig. G).18. Lift the shield (15, Fig. G) and, by means of theextractible hose (6), fill the solution tank (4) with theappropriate solution for the cleaning to be carried out.Do not fill the solution tank completely, leave a fewcentimeters from the edge.Always follow the dilution instructions on the label of thechemical product used to create the solution. The solution temperature must not exceed 104°F(40°C).Using the transparent hose (1, Fig. J) and the marks (2),it is possible to check the quantity of solution in the tank. Moreover, it is possible to consult a gallon/liter tablelocated on the inner side of the cover (1, Fig. G).Adjustments19. Using the knobs (3, Fig. C), adjust the handlebar (2) toreach a comfortable position.WARNING!When the machine is to be started by turningthe ignition key (10, Fig. B) to “I” position, make sure that, between the deck (12 or 15, Fig.C) and the above tank assembly, there is noforeign material which may prevent the deckfrom lifting. This check is necessary because,if the machine has been previously turned offwithout the deck being deactivated (liftedposition), when turned on again, the deck isautomatically deactivated (lifted position).WARNING!Before turning on the brush/pad-holder decklifting/lowering switch (2, Fig. B), always checkthat, between the deck (12) and the above tankassembly, there is no foreign material whichmay prevent the deck from lifting.WARNING!Do not press the paddle (4, Fig. C) completely, otherwise the machine will start; a lightpressure on the paddle is enough to engagethe brushes and activate the brush motors.WARNING!When the deck has not been lifted yet, and thewarning light on the switch (2, Fig. B) isflashing, the brushes (11, Fig. C) start to turnwhen pressing the paddle (4, Fig. C). It istherefore important to make sure that there isnothing which can prevent the brush fromrotating and that nobody is near the brushesbefore pressing the paddle (4, Fig. C).WARNING!Before turning on the cylindrical brush-holderdeck lifting/lowering switch (2, Fig. B), alwayscheck that, between the deck (15) and theabove tank assembly, there is no foreignmaterial which may prevent the deck fromlifting.CAUTION!Use only low-foam and non-flammablesolutions, intended for automatic scrubberapplications.
