287.7 Delete Image FileDEL IMG FILE is used for deleting an image file that has been saved to a Storage Center.To delete an image file:1. From the SETUP menu, tap the ‘SET’ button to navigate to the DEL IMG FILE option.2. Tap the ‘RUN’ button. The duplicator will ask you to input the name of the image file you wantto delete.a) The file name consists of three digits. The digit furthest to the right will be blinking, indicatingthat it is currently selected. Tap the ‘RUN’ button to increase the digit by one.b) Tap the ‘SET’ button to select the next digit to the left. Tap the ‘RUN’ button to increase thedigit by one. Repeat this step as necessary.3. When you have completed entering the name of the image file, hold the ‘RUN’ button to deletethe image file.Note: If the screen displays the following message, “NO FILE_SYS IN SRC” then there is no datasaved to the image file that you selected.7.8 Diagnostic SetupDIAGNOSTIC SETUP allows you to enable or disable any of the available Diagnostic Modes. Tapthe ‘RUN’ button to enter the Diagnostic Setup menu and then tap the ‘SET’ button to navigatethrough the available Diagnostic modes. Tap the ‘RUN’ button to enable or disable the Diagnosticmode.There are three Diagnostic modes available:• Set SMART Check - (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) monitors harddrive indicators of reliability and is often able to anticipate future failures. SMART checks theelectrical and mechanical performance as well as the read performance of the disk. Electricaltests can include a test of cache, a read/write circuitry test, or a test of the read/write headelements. Mechanical tests include seeking and servo on data tracks. SMART Check is disabledby default.• Set Write Test - Checks the ability to write data to all sectors on the target hard drives. Writetest is enabled by default.• Set Read Test - Checks the ability to read data by first writing random data to all sectors on thetarget hard drives and then attempting to read them. Read Test is disabled by default.Note: More than one diagnostic can be enabled at the same time. All enabled Diagnostic modes willbe applied when you run the Diagnostic function.Delete Image File / Diagnostic Setup
