Appendix E – Record Management • 43Clearing Punch RecordsThe Record Management function allows you review punch data andclear records in the terminals memory.Warning: Use extreme caution when clearing records. Once therecords are cleared they can not be restored!• At the FaceIN terminal press the MENU key. Administratorverification is required.• The administrator should present and position their face for afacial scan. The Functions Menu will display upon asuccessful verification.• Press 3 or select the Record Management menu and pressOK.• Press 2 or select the Clear Record menu and press OK.Warning: Use extreme caution when clearing records. Oncethe records are cleared they can not be restored!• Proceed with caution, all data and settings will be lost!• If you are sure press OK to continue. This will delete allpunch records in the terminal.• The screen will display “Clearing…Please Wait…”, next“Records Cleared!” will display and the terminal will return tothe Record Management menu.• Press ESC and ESC again to return to the normal time/datescreen.
