6 ENGLISH6. When operating the machine on rough ground,decrease speed and exercise caution.7. When using the machine, avoid soft groundto prevent overturn due to the shoulder of theroad collapsing.8. Do not operate the machine on upward slopesgreater than 12°.9. If you ind an abnormality, stop the machineon lat ground. Before inspecting the machine,pull the brake lever and lock the brake, andthen turn the power off.10. Before operating the machine, make sure thatthe lock lever is fully pulled down and com-pletely locked. If the lock is incomplete, there isa risk of accident or injury as the carrier or bucketmay be tilted and the objects fall when goingdownhill.11. Be careful not to entangle the cords with theload or obstacles.Operation on slopes1. Do not cross on slopes.2. Be sure to decrease speed and exercisecaution.3. Exercise caution when starting or stopping themachine on slopes.4. As the loads become less stable on slopes,irmly secure the loads with ropes.5. As the machine becomes unstable dependingon the condition of the road, keep the load to aminimum.6. As the view is obscured on slopes, keep theheight of the load to a minimum.7. Never park the machine on steep slopes. Parkthe machine on lat ground, pull the brakelever and lock the brake, and then turn thepower off.8. Do not change the direction or speed mode onsteep slopes.9. Do not release the switch trigger on upwardslopes. The machine may go in reverse andcause an accident.10. Make sure that the remaining battery capacityis enough before operating on slopes. If theremaining battery capacity is not enough,charge the battery or replace it with a chargedone.Loading objects1. Do not overload objects. When loadingobjects, be sure to follow the instructions andload limits in the manual.2. Firmly secure the objects with ropes.3. Load the objects within the carrier or bucket.If the objects protrude from the carrier or bucket,there is a risk of accidents due to the objectsfalling or contact obstacles such as walls.4. Be sure that loaded objects are below eyelevel. If the load is too high, it is dangerousbecause the view is obscured. Also, there is a riskof overturning and injury because the load is likelyto be unbalanced.5. Load the objects on the carrier or bucketevenly. If the objects are loaded unevenly, there isa risk of overturning and injury because the load islikely to be unbalanced.6. Before loading the objects or operating themachine, make sure that the lock lever is fullypulled down and completely locked.7. Be sure to load heavy objects irst to keepbalance.8. Do not extend the front and side rails on steepslopes. Extend the side rails when lightweightobjects are loaded.9. When extending the front and side rails, do notextend them over the extension limit. Be sureto extend the side rails so that the right andleft sides are the same length, and load objectsevenly.10. Load and unload objects on lat ground.11. When lifting and tilting the carrier or bucket,hold the handles and frame irmly, and work ina stable posture.Maintenance1. Do not short the battery cartridge:(1) Do not touch the terminals with any con-ductive material.(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-tainer with other metal objects such asnails, coins, etc.(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to wateror rain.A battery short can cause a large currentlow, overheating, possible burns and even abreakdown. |
