16 ENGLISHDust bagThe use of the dust bag makes cutting operations cleanand dust collection easy. To attach the dust bag, removethe dust extraction hose on the tool and connect thedust bag.12► 1. Dust extraction hose 2. Dust bagWhen the dust bag is about half full, remove the dustbag from the tool and pull the fastener out. Emptythe dust bag of its contents, tapping it lightly so as toremove particles adhering to the insides which mighthamper further collection.1► 1. FastenerSecuring workpieceWARNING: It is extremely important to alwayssecure the workpiece correctly with the propertype of vise or crown molding stoppers. Failure todo so may result in serious personal injury and causedamage to the tool and/or the workpiece.WARNING: After a cutting operation do notraise the blade until it has come to a completestop. The raising of a coasting blade may result inserious personal injury and damage to the workpiece.WARNING: When cutting a workpiece thatis longer than the support base of the saw, thematerial should be supported the entire lengthbeyond the support base and at the same heightto keep the material level. Proper workpiece supportwill help avoid blade pinch and possible kickbackwhich may result in serious personal injury. Do notrely solely on the vertical vise and/or horizontal viseto secure the workpiece. Turn baseGuide fencesWARNING: Before operating the tool, makesure that the upper fence is secured firmly.WARNING: Before bevel-cutting, make surethat no part of the tool, especially the blade, con-tacts the upper and lower fences when fully low-ering and raising the handle in any position andwhile moving the carriage through its full rangeof travel. If the tool or blade makes contact withthe fence this may result in kickback or unexpectedmovement of the material and serious personal injury.Use upper fences to support the material higher thanthe lower fences. Insert the upper fence into the hole onthe lower fence and tighten the clamping screw.
